The mission of St. Joseph School, in cooperation with parents and the Catholic Church, is to educate each child spiritually and academically to become valued members of society whose foundation is Christ and His teachings.
Through open and honest communication, mutual respect, and shared trust, we must prepare students to achieve their full spiritual, moral, and academic potential.
St. Joseph School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
The primary responsibility for the education of children resides with the parents or guardians. St. Joseph School provides a means for parents to fulfill that responsibility. If, at any time, questions or concerns should arise, please do not hesitate to call the teacher involved or the principal. Parents are also represented by parishioners they have elected to the Education Commission. Those names are sent home at the beginning of the school year. It is mutual cooperation and respect that provides the basis for an excellent school.
St. Joseph School promotes a healthy school by supporting wellness, good nutrition and regular physical activity as a part of the total learning environment. The school supports a healthy environment where children learn and participate in positive dietary and lifestyle practices. By facilitation learning through the support and promotion of good nutrition and physical activity, schools contribute to the basic health status of children. Improved health optimizes student performance potential and ensures that no child is left behind. Click here for more information.
