At the beginning of each school year, Mrs. Heim has students in each grade complete a nature project which involves collecting items from nature.  This is a family project, so you can collect the items as a family.  Some families have found that it is nice to get a start at the collecting before school begins.  Each grades need to collect the following:             6th -  each student needs to collect 26 items from nature, one for each letter of the alphabet.           7th - each student needs to collect and name 25 bugs           8th- each student needs to collect and name 25 seeds and/or leaves
